In January 2014, Grass River and its limited partners acquired an off-market 1.3 acre vacant site one block north of the Coconut Grove Metrorail Station. Development of a luxury 14-story multifamily apartment building, Grove Station Tower, was completed in January 2016. The project required a redesign and rezone from a condominium tower to a rental apartment format. The project competes favorably in the Coconut Grove/South Gables market, achieving consistent occupancy >92%.

Role: As Principal for Grass River Property, active in redesign to apartments and oversight of design/development process.  Assisted in construction loan financing and transition to asset management and leasing teams.
