Acting as fee developer and owner’s representative, Hines collaborated with the New World Symphony and architect Frank O. Gehry on the design and development of this unique and highly technical facility and parking garage to serve as the home of the New World. Symphony in the heart of Miami Beach.  The state-of-the-art concert hall contains numerous small performance venues, rehearsal halls, offices, music library, rooftop event space and other student facilities.

Hines also worked as development manager of the neighboring 2-acre Miami Beach SoundScape, an urban park which serves as a cultural event space for the Symphony and the City and houses the projection equipment for the Wallcast concerts.  Hines worked closely with the City of Miami Beach, the New World Symphony and West 8, a Netherlands-based landscape design firm, to develop the iconic urban park.
